He didn't say, and I'm not saying that it is money, it could be time, love, whatever; So, if a beggar does ask of you, you must give it to him. You might not like it at first, but don't you think that this is the meaning of dying to self? Of us decreasing and of Christ increasing?
And, to be honest, I don't do this. I understand that, and epecially when I give offering, I know that it is not actually my own money that I'm giving. I don't know what it's like to give when I am earning my actual money, so you're right, I am not necessarily qualified to be saying all this. But, this is my rambling on what I think the Bible teaches, and I really don't see any room under which circumstances a person should not give to someone who is desperate, or as you say, "actually begging."
